Whether you sell tiles, hardware, spare parts or wholesale goods, your price list is the backbone of your online catalogue. A tidy source file gives a tidy result.
Spreadsheet tips
- One product per row. Avoid merged cells.
- Separate columns for name, SKU or code, category, unit, price and MOQ.
- Keep prices as plain numbers, without currency symbols or text such as “approx”.
- Put sizes or pack variants in their own column rather than in the product name.
- Remove subtotal rows, notes and blank spacer rows.
PDF and photo tips
- Prefer the original PDF over a scan or photo of a printout.
- Photograph one page at a time, flat and straight.
- Make sure prices sit on the same line as the product they belong to.
After the import
Review flagged issues before publishing — especially missing prices and possible duplicates. If some prices are confidential, show “Price on request” instead and let buyers send an enquiry or request for quote.
